Avoid the "Omega" trigger (controls falling off, light strikes, trigger slap, dead triggers). Avoid the standard FCG models with the Jericho-style overly bowed trigger (the pad of your finger will need to "slide" down the trigger face even on SA). Also, avoid the Isr*eli imports (I've not followed my advice here in the past).
The trigger is based on the CZ 85C, which has a more shallow curve and isnât set as far forward as a standard 75-series trigger. For shooters with shorter fingers, or who prefer a more ârelaxedâ placement on the trigger, this is the way to go. Itâs machined of 416R stainless and offered in black DLC for those who want a more subdued look. According to CZ, the main features are as follows: â Butter smooth trigger pull and shortened reset. â Compact frame forged from highly durable 7075 aluminum alloy. â Rear of slide is ready for extremely low and robust mounting of a red dot sight. â Height-adjustable rear sight comes directly from the full-size CZ SHADOW 2 pistols. The omega trigger is better out of the box but canât be tuned as well as the standard trigger. Omega is also a lot easier to work on. I doubt it makes a noticeable difference in reliability. If you donât like to modify your guns, omega is the right choice. If you do like to tinker/mod then the standard would be a better choiceSteve40th Discussion starter. 5377 posts ¡ Joined 2013. #1 ¡ Jan 19, 2022. I am looking at a couple right now. If I buy new and have the work done, it comes out to about 1100 dollars for a P01, for example. I really want a PCR CZ pistol, always have, and Cajun Works was apparently needed based on reviews due to poor OEM trigger etc. AMRe2.
