Norse god instead have all experienced war in a way or another , they don’t underestimate Kratos , they are used exchanging blow and even their godhood means little to them in fight: they know they could die in battle , they don’t consider it possible not because they are god but because they are capable.

Honestly, it would make more sense for Kratos and Deimos to have their last name be Zeusson. Jonathan and John, similarly to Jason, are Hebrew names and were used in the time period. Jason even exists in GoW universe and Greek mythology. Naming Kratos "John" is stupid, though.
